As per the directions of the senior officers, the dedicated team of PSs Lahori Gate and Wazirabad of North District Delhi were working to gather information regarding Proclaimed Offenders in Delhi and other areas of NCR. BRIEF FACTS: On 02.09.2022, ASI Azad Singh of PS Lahori Gate received secret information from reliable sources that one Proclaimed Offender wanted in a theft & forgery case namely Bijender Singh, age- 42 years would come near Karkardooma Court. If raid is conducted in time, the offender can be apprehended. The information was immediately shared with senior officers and as per their directions, a dedicated police team of PS Lahori Gate comprising of ASI Azad Singh and HC Maninder under the close supervision of Inspr. Vijender Rana, SHO/PS Lahori Gate and guidance of Shri Vijay Singh, ACP/Kotwali proceeded to the place of information to conduct the raid. The team by showing great sense of responsibility and activeness apprehended the offender Bijender Singh, age- 42 years near Karkardooma Court Delhi on 02.09.2022. Accordingly, the accused was arrested u/s 41.1(C) Cr.PC, PS Lahori Gate and investigation was taken up. In another case, on 02.09.2022 ASI Ashok Kumar of PS Wazirabad received secret information from reliable sources that one Proclaimed Offender wanted in a robbery case namely Rashid @ Wasim , age- 29 years would come to Seelampur, Delhi. If raid is conducted in time, the offender can be apprehended. The information was immediately shared with senior officers and as per their directions, a dedicated police team of PS Wazirabad comprising of ASI Ashok Kumar, HC Ajit Singh, Ct. Hardeep under the close supervision of Inspr. Virender Kumar, SHO/PS Wazirabad and guidance of Shri Patil Swagat Rajkumar, ACP/Timarpur proceeded to the place of information to conduct the raid. The team by showing great sense of responsibility and activeness apprehended the offender from G- Block Jhuggi Basti, Seelampur Delhi on 02.09.2022. Accordingly, the accused was arrested u/s 41.1(C)Cr.PC, PS Wazirabad and investigation was taken up. DETAILS OF ACCUSED/OFFENDERS: • Bijender Singh r/o Vakna Distt. Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, age- 42 years. • Rashid @ Wasim r/o Gali No. 3, near Gurudwara, New Seelampur, Delhi, age- 29 years. He was previously involved in 09 criminal cases i.e. 02 cases of robbery, 01 case of snatching & 06 cases of theft registered in different police stations of Delhi.
